Hurricane Florence Campus Updates – September 17

NC State Resuming Normal Class Schedule, Normal Operations 8 a.m. Tuesday           

NC State will resume normal operations and its regular class schedule beginning 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18. The university will continue to operate under Reduced Operations (Condition 1 of the UNC System Adverse Weather Policy) until 8 a.m. Tuesday. All Monday classes are cancelled.

University officials will continue to monitor the situation and update the campus community, if necessary, with any changes.

Residence halls, university apartments, Greek houses and dining facilities remain open for students.

The D.H. Hill and Hunt Libraries are open on regular schedules. Some services such as library dining facilities and Makerspaces will not operate on a regular schedule Sunday, Sept. 16. Requests from the Hunt Library bookBot will be available Monday, Sept. 17. The Design, Natural Resources and Veterinary Medicine libraries are closed and plan to reopen on a regular schedule Monday, Sept. 17. For more information, visit the NCSU Libraries website.

Students who cannot return to class Tuesday should contact their professors as soon as possible. Students who feel they need additional assistance regarding courses or their return, or those who have other questions about attendance, should call the Wolfpack Response Line at 919-512-3272.
